The Hands-On & Homegrown Workforce Pipeline Initiative represents a unified vision between NMTech and the CNMI Public School System to build a sustainable and locally driven workforce. This collaboration is designed to furnish students with early exposure to career pathways, opportunities to attain industry-recognized credentials, and a streamlined progression from academic pursuits to professional employment. Through this cooperative endeavor, we are effectively preparing our students not only for individual success but also for substantial and meaningful contributions to the future development of the CNMI.

Programs

  • Contact Hours: 85 hours
  • High School Credit (PSS): 1.0 CTE Elective Credit
  • Eligible NMTech Post Secondary Credit: Up to 3-6 post secondary credits (construction fundamentals or core competency equivalency)
  • Contact Hours: 152.5 hours
  • High School Credit (PSS): 1.0 CTE Elective Credit
  • Eligible NMTech Post Secondary Credit: Up to 3-6 post secondary credits (construction fundamentals or core competency equivalency)
  • Contact Hours: 60-75 hours
  • High School Credit (PSS): 0.5 CTE Elective Credit
  • Eligible NMTech Post Secondary Credit: Up to 3 post secondary credits (introductory hospitality or workforce readiness course equivalency)
